  : Location, was the only good thing about this property. Firstly there was no reception on the desk, then had to cross over to the sister hotel. Some guy who looked like he was high on weed eventually presented himself with my room key. When I got it the door it was the wrong key. So back again for another 20 min wait. Got the correct key and just about to take a shower to discover no towels, yet again I waited at reception. Bed was dipped in the centre. Wont be staying again

  : Nothing!!! Avoid at all cost
  : Absolute disgrace of a place. The lady who runs it is very rough and very rude on the phone. It was a big deal for me to check in at 11pm, which isn't evem that late. When I checked in, room wasn't ready AT ALL. It was just left after last guest and arriving so late I was just hoping to sleep. There was literally still poo in a toilet after last guest. Someone cleaned it but of course only briefly while I was waiting. I paid over 100 for this. I complained and was promised a partial refund, which then never happened. So this horrible woman stole money from me after promising to refund. Then accused me of stealing a duvet!!?? Like what the hell would I do with your disgusting duvet. Disgrace and id recommend everyone to avoid at all cost.

  : I liked the friendliness of the staff I encountered during my stay. They were all really kind and understanding with us.
  : There were no heaters in my room, and it was colder than the bloody cold empty vacuum of space. The water pressure was really poor, and there was no hot water at all it was only Lukewarm. I hit my head on the ceiling several times as it was so low to the ground by the bed. There was a hole in the wall by the door, probably making the cold draft worse. Sockets hanging out the wall right beside the chair that looked like it was being held together by a really cheap glue stick you find in a school that doesn't even work on paper. I opened the wardrobe to find more exposed cables, and the gap with the cables showing was big enough to probably fit an infant inside of. The ceiling in the corridor was pretty much collapsing on top of me as I made my way to the room. I got a really poor night's sleep as I had to stay fully dressed with my shoes on just so I wouldn't get into a hypothermic state.Now, onto room 37I went for a shower as soon as I went in and found the water pressure to be poorer than someone who works in McDonalds and the heat of the water was the same temperature as a cup of tea that's been left outside unattended for about an hour. There were no towels in my room, and I had to use the throw over on my bed to dry myself and not walk about like a drowned rat. It was that bad that at half 2 in the morning I was that cold that I decided to leave the hotel and go to my lorry, which was warmer than a bloody building. I had 2 heaters in my room that didn't work at all.

  : Not a thing except the location.
  : We have stayed at the Waverley Lodge many times and have been very satisfied but on booking one month or so ago we were booked into a different property. This used to be a hotel in Dingwall and has since been used for various purposes. We certainly stayed on a stormy night but the windows were not wind proof and the roof leaked and it was a thoroughly miserable place to be. The worst thing was that we knew the property as The Royal Hotel but were booked into what we were told was the Waverley Inn Lodge with no choice whatsoever. It suits us not to have breakfast because we were there selling sheep at Dingwall and we needed to be away by 6 o'clock in the morning anyway to tend to our animals and get their breakfast. It was an altogether dreadful experience after a journey from the very south of Scotland on a rotten day the least we expected was to be warm and dry.
