  : The location on a hill means that you have lovely views of Knigswinter below.There are lots of walking paths into the forest to take the dog for a walk especially when its hot outside, lots of shade.
  : This is a 4 star German rating hotel which cannot be compared with an international rating system.in my opinion, this is a 3 star hotel.

  : We were traveling with a baby. The building in which our room was located (there are multiple) did not have an elevator. That's somewhat inconvenient when using a stroller.

  : We came to see the Drachenburg castle, so the hotel was a good location as it wasn't too far by car and there was free parking at the hotel. The view from our room was pretty nice as well. Staff was friendly and lots to do, I guess.
  : Unfortunately we expected a 4-star hotel and the hotel did not live up to our expectations.- reception is confusing, it's in the restaurant and it's not clear who works at the reception and who at the restaurant.- we were put in the wrong room. When I went back to the reception the guy said it was the right room and that the pictures on booking com were wrong. He clearly said we had a deluxe room during check-in, however. He put us in the room we booked anyway...- the first night we got food from the restaurant, they warmed up frozen pizza... Saw them bring out the frozen pizza... They dare charge 8 for that! Absolute bollocks.- the room had no air-conditioning. The hotel is in the middle of a forest and the windows have no screens in front of the window to prevent insects from getting in, so it's not possible to keep the windows open, the heat was uncomfortable. My mom also has arachnophobia and she had a spider crawl up her shoulder, you can understand how scary that is.- one of the shutters didn't close and a few of the lights didn't work either.- the room was not clean, my nose got stuffy as soon as I sat down on the bed. After the first night we hung a sign on the door to have the room cleaned. No one came, nothing was cleaned.- walls are extremely thin and the people with children nextdoor were extremely loud and annoying.- the beds were EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are pretty much useless too. We barely slept the whole weekend.- the bathroom doesn't have any ventilation, you can imagine what that does...- the breakfast is pretty basic; bread. cut meats, cheeses, jams, yoghurt, fruits, cereals, tea, coffee, juice (probably not freshly squeezed). They do have their own honey which is cool, and plant-based milks.- the hotel consists of three buildings and to get to the building our room was we had to walk up four stairs. It was difficult to get up with our luggage as it was slippery. No help was offered.
