  : The old hous and the scenery where wonderfull. The hosts also very nice people.
  : The bed was too hard in both rooms. My mother of 81 could hardly get out of her bed.

  : Ok place to stay for one night. Room is very simple. Breakfast very good. On site restaurant has very good food as well. Staff ok
  : Room did have only one socket for plug-in and it was in the bathroom. No shower gel available and just one towel. Quite expensive for what I got.

  : The Gasthaus is up a long winding hilly road, so if you've driven 5 hours then have to drive up this road at the end of your journey (as I did), be prepared for a long climb (there is one quite sharp turn you might nearly miss with a small yellow sign that says Hof, the name of the village). But once you're up there, the views are stunning. The small village is very quiet and for this reason, I slept well (and the comfortable bed). The house is rustic, has a lovely lived in feel, the whole environment very chill. My 2nd floor room had a short balcony and a spectacular view. A good place to relax in the countryside with some great hikes into the surrounding hills and villages. My room had a shared bathroom, which was clean and almost always available. Internet was good. Breakfast was basic: good bread, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruit and juice. The eating area was comfortable and all the guests friendly in this rustic, natural environment (a lot of hikers and cyclists). Owner spoke decent English so check in was easy. He had drinks and beer available to buy at all hours and there is a well-stocked Rewe supermarket about 10 min. drive. Would definitely stay again to enjoy the peace and quiet.
  : My room only had one socket. Luckily I travel with a multiplug so I was abe to use that. Don't know if all the rooms are like this but be prepared. You can hear people in the hall so that may be an issue with noiser guests, but most seemed to be there to enjoy the quiet countryside, so no one was too loud during my stay.
