  : Cottage was well equipped, very modern equipment and finished to a high standard. Was really clean too. Loved the complimentary jam and homemade scones on arrival. Location was rural but the countryside views were fantastic.
  : The only "even better if" for family stays would be to supply some stair gates as the nice original stone steps are very steep for exploring toddlers. These may also compromise more mobility impaired visitors as well.

  : Beautiful rural location with wonderful views down the valley. The cottage is very well appointed and sleeps five comfortably. Lots of opportunities for walking direct from the cottage. Very friendly and helpful hosts who made sure the trip went well.

  : We fully appeciated the thoughtful provisioning of handsoap, extra toilet paper, packets of paper tissues , fresh milk - and home made scones and jam. We have never stayed where so many cooking utensils were available, and I didn't need my sharp paring kife or y-potato-peeler! Other age groups would really appreciate the selection of child-friendly games. The information about local places to visit was exceptional and easy to follow.
  : Unfortunately two of our family suffer from arthritis and the steep staircase was a struggle - but there was a warning in the literature. We should perhaps have expected the one-way approach road, with no obvious passing places, but it was an exceptionally long stretch of road on which you didn't want to meet other traffic! Local taxi-drivers didn't seem to know how to find the property unaided, despite being given sat-nav info.
