: Location perfect for our stay. Rooms very comfortable and kitchen well equipped .
: House was cold when we arrived, thermostat set to 9! And it keeps defaulting back to 9 during our stay. However once reset it soon warmed up.

: The location and common areas of the house were good.
: The en-suite bathroom was horrendously small and there was not even enough space for my father to have a bath comfortably. Completely disappointed in this and the pictures were also misleading.

: Great location - middle of nowhere (but close enough to both Kendal and Windermere), picturesque views, lovely walks from the front door. The property was bright, spacious and clean, very well equipped as a home-from-home for the six of us. The hosts provided a wealth of local information with OS maps of the entire area, a bookcase of "Interesting Stuff" for us to thumb through and plan our excursions, as well as a cabinet of board games for the evenings.
: Nothing to not like really. If I was being picky, I'd suggest full blackout curtains for the bedrooms so that the kids could sleep a bit later.
