  : Avoid This Property! Misleading Photos and Unacceptable Conditions My friends and I recently stayed at the ironworks Lake District, booked through Prim short stays through the booking.com site. We were incredibly disappointed with the entire experience, and I strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. Firstly, the cleanliness of the property was appalling. Despite paying 400, the place was filthy. Secondly, the listing advertised WiFi, which was a key factor in our decision to book. Upon arrival, we discovered there was no WiFi available. This caused significant inconvenience for us. Finally, the overall condition of the property was very unloved and neglected. It felt far from the inviting space depicted in the photos. We contacted the management company upon arrival to address these issues. Unfortunately, they were unable to offer us alternative accommodation. We then inquired about the refund policy, hoping to find a suitable replacement ourselves elsewhere. Disappointingly, they did not respond to our messages or calls for the remainder of our trip on which we also encountered a broken bath, filthy shower head and fan - plus unclean bath mat, no electrical safety testing which is probably why the oven had to be turned on anticlockwise. The balcony was so grim we couldnt even sit out on it, door handles were loose (one cover actually fell off) Despite providing them with clear evidence of the property's condition, the management company refused to offer any compensation for the significant shortcomings we encountered. This lack of customer service is unacceptable. This experience left us feeling frustrated and misled. We urge potential guests to be wary of this property and the management company. Don't let the photos fool you the reality falls far short of the advertised images and the customer service is non existent you will simply lose your money!
