  : Bathroom was dilapidated. sink badly cracked, dust on many surfaces, light bulbs hanging by their wires, 4 str table with 3 chairs, damaged and miss matched plates. furniture from a house clearance, dirty wardrobe with dumped blankets, blank space for a clothes washer, broken drawer with sellotape on the cheap freezer, 25 yr old ghetto blaster dumped on an old table...........

  : Very clean, comfortable & central to Kendal. Parking was fine within the residential zone. Quiet neighbourhood.

  : Difficult to find. Neighbour annoyed because of where I parked in courtyard. No wifi or data service. Upstairs is nice but bedroom and especially bathroom could do with updating and a good cleaning.

  : Perfect location and great base for exploring the lakes. Loads of nice pubs and restaurants short walk away.

  : Loved the welcome pack of biscuits, milk and wine. Great location very central but no noise at all. Comfortable and well maintained. The hosts go the extra mile.
  : Could do with some basic broadband as you don't receive a good 4g signal inside the cottage. Parking isn't next to the cottage but a permit is provided for the next road.
