: If you want to have a relaxed vacation and an understanding landlord dont come here. We arrived mid day and the landlord came quickly to give us the keys. We had to text him twice since we didn't have big towels nor knifes in the house. But that will be our least problem. To also be transparent the place is indeed very beautiful with a nice swimming pool and a BBQ place which is covered. The next day we went for a kayak trip and came back around 8pm to discover 6 cars parked in the driveway. First we thought some other guests arrived. When we approached the pool area we saw 10+ guys having drinks, jumping in the pool and having loud music. We asked them whats happening and they told us that they actually have a bachelors party. We asked kindly how long they think it will last and they told us that a guy with an accordion will come soon and they will sing and drink till 1am and continue drinking till 4am. Interestingly enough the policy of this place states: Parties/events are not allowed Guests must be quiet between 23:00 and 08:00. This can be found here: https://www.booking.com/hotel/ba/stara-kuca-estate.en-gb.html I contacted the landlord, explained the situation and told him that we didn't book this place to have parties around us. We based the booking on the policy of the place. His explanation was basically that we are not alone and that we have to cope with other people. Since this is clearly against the policy of the place I asked for a refund, which got declined by him, and we packed our things and went to another hotel in the night.
