  : Nice location and friendly staff.
  : Older building with newly renovated rooms - the bathroom is basically in your bedroom. Fine if you know your traveling companion really, really well. Very creaky and loud between floors - could hear people above and below all night.

  : Because it's an old property (though recently renovated) the rooms are somewhat small and wall outlets in confusing places.

  : Nice location, within walking distance of the lake and other sights. Lots of nearby restaurants.Staff were all friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.
  : Car park is great, but crowded and we only just managed to get a space - and then they charge for it !! A better managed car park that you could reserve would be a big improvement

  : Good sized room. Clean and bright. Quiet despite being right next to street. Staff helpful. Right next to old town and a short walk to the passenger ferry to Meersburg, which takes 20 minutes from Konstantz harbour, without having to make your way to Staad. Breakfast spot on, with good variety and plenty of pastries. Fried eggs always a bonus, even if overdone. Konstantz great for a couple of nights, with a good mix of old town, shops, bars and restaurants, with plenty of places to visit around the lake, in particular Meersburg and its old castle.
  : Limited (paid but.a reasonable 11) parking at the hotel, although we did arrive late, so best have a back-up plan, although other parking well enough posted on the way into town. Managed to get parked the second day when guests were checking out in the morning. A bit tricky, in particular when driving a large hire car on the wrong side

  : Good location.
  : If you can get past the smell from the carpet, the bathroom, which is basically a glass box in which there is no privacy, the window which opens onto the pavement and the breakfast that consists principally of processed food then you'll probably love the place. However, if you like being able to use the toilet in relative privacy, open the window to fresh air and enjoy a healthy breakfast, then avoid this hotel.
