: The best is the pool and the view of the ocean. the grounds are very comfortable and quiet, with lots of shade or sun, which er you prefer. I was on a working holiday and was able to work quietly and comfortably for a few hours each day.

: The pool is just perfect - very clean and a great size for swimming, with a gorgeous view of the sea and plenty of good quality comfortable loungers with umbrellas around it. The whole property is beautifully kept, with lovely gardens and more loungers and umbrellas on the lawn for relaxing in the shade. We got an apartment and it was great, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with plenty of space. The location is fabulous, it is a bit remote but I liked that - it is quiet at night except for the sound of the waves, and you feel as if you are at the edge of the island with the sea around you. The breakfast is home-made every morning using local ingredients and absolutely delicious, with lots of variety - she makes fabulous little savoury pancakes, and traditional cheese + spinach pies (in addition to eggs, bacon and cereals), the home-made jams were wonderful, and you may have some friendly company from a cat or two. We felt very welcome, it is a smaller family run establishment and the owner is a very gracious host. I would suggest that the location is best suited to travellers with a car. It is possible to walk to Grammeno beach and the surrounding restaurants (Houmas in particular is excellent), but the walk is along the road without a footpath, so it is much more pleasant to drive (especially coming back from dinner at night), plus having a car allows you to explore more of the surrounding area.
: The wifi is a bit slow & spotty, but this honestly wasn't much of an issue. If you want a 'resort-style' experience (e.g. organised activities, room service, nightlife etc) then I think this is probably not what you're looking for, it is a quiet and laid back environment. Perfect for us, but not what everyone is after.
