  : The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The chateau was lovely and our room small but charming with a little terrace. We enjoyed the pool and sitting on the terrace for the evening meal
  : If you wanted to stay it was a bit off the beaten track

  : Nice setting with attractive main building. Dinner and breakfast good if a little pricey. Pool and seating appreciated on a warm evening and early morning swim.
  : The rooms were in an Annexe not main hotel, and bore no resemblance to the booking site description and picture. Even the so called superior room was basic, the same as the standard. The toilet was in a cupboard so small it was difficult to close the door. Reception could have been more welcoming.

  : A very beautiful building with appropriate Decore. We stayed in the annnex. Very comfey bed. Bathroom clean but a little quirky. Toilet was in a cupboard and the shower was hand held. Did not bother us but may not suit everyone
  : Our evening meal was a little disappointing. We felt the chef was trying to be above their own skills and not quite making it. Breakfast was pleasant

  : The setting. It could be really lovelyThe staff were friendly
  : The curtains wouldnt open or close without having to stand on a chair to pull them.The toilet was so small that my legs were against the door.One of the bedroom lamps didnt work but instead of replacing the bulb it had been moved to an occasional table.The TV was placed on the table but was so low that if you put anything on the table it obstructed the view.Lots of paving slabs were loose so they were unsteady under foot.The drinks were expensive and were stingy in content.The cheese board was a rip off-12 for the two smallest pieces of cheese youll ever see.I dont know when the photos on this website were taken but the reality is nothing like them now

  : Nicely situated a short drive away from 2 towns - so all the benefits of being away from hustle and bustle, but with plenty to see and do if you take a short drive. Staff throughout our stay were friendly, eager to please, and just lovely. Dinner in the restaurant had menu choices focussed on French food and wine which we really appreciated. Portions were generous, ingredients appeared to be fresh, and it felt like good value for money for what was effectively fine dining. Due to our our travel timings we didn't get the chance to try the sparkling clean heated swimming pool, nor the chance to walk through the extensive grounds, nor to utilise the tennis courts, but we hope to on our next stay. Despite the grand setting this establishment retains a homely, cosy feeling.
  : We had a "standard" room which was on the small size, although it did have the benefit of a loo seperate to the bathroom. It was all fine for an overnight stay but if staying for longer in bad weather, I suspect we'd be spending most of our time in the main chateau building reading rooms rather than tripping over each other. The beds were very much on the firm side, again, fine for an overnight stay, but might pose problems to anyone wanting more mattress flex.
