  : Very bad internet, stayed there 8 months ago same problem. Owners have done nothing to improve the internet service. Spent an hour with manager & owner troubleshooting the problem. I have Android phone & Apple iPad neither would connect. Access points are very old no name brand ( maybe from India?) sell for $50 online. Moved to another room & connected to the secured office network, lasted one hour and offline again. Refrigerator was not cooling properly in fear of my milk spoiling. Owner came to the room, stuck his hand by the open door and said its working. REFUSED to switch rooms or frigerator. Ive only seen about 6 rooms occupied at a time. Poor customer service! Problem with the refrigerator is that they never defrost them. Mine had enough ice to make a snowman.Towels are from Bangladesh (worse than China) They are like sandpaper! Rates higher than other hotels nearby and much better internet. Owner kicked me out because I complained. It was for the best, checked in to the Industry Inn with super nice remodeled rooms & and fast EASY to connect internet. Would not recommend or stay at Budget Inn La Puente

  : I liked the location of the hotel. It was centered very nicely in the town. Easy access to freeways and food places.
  : I went to the front window to ask for assistance and the worker did not seem willing to help and just kept saying "sorry i don't have a key to the back room". There were ants in my hotel room coming in from a crack in the wall and some other unseen place. The remote for the television wouldn't work and again, the desk clerk wouldn't help with that. Also, the bathroom itself looked as if it wasn't cleaned prior to us staying in the room.

  : Older guy was rude and yell at me because I requested another room. Our 1st room security lock was broken, 2nd room had a strong smell of smoke in a non-smoking room. The man yelled that it did not smell and he had no more rooms so I asked to cancell. He was mad amd continued to yell at me! Lucky my adult son was with me and told him it smelled like smoke and needed a new room. This is when he is when he finally gave us another room. 3rd Room was dusty, you get a sheet thin type of blanket that had stains and there was a black rim on the toilet bowl!
