  : Very beautiful property with beautiful furnishings and bedding. The breakfast was amazing! Everything was thought about and the attention to detail was lovely.
  : There were a lot of stairs! We had two suitcases so it was abit tricky on the arrival and leaving but other than that we loved the property!

  : Beautifully decorated. Very knowledgeable and attentive host with lots of suggestions for where to eat and visit. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Breakfast was very good with some home made touches and the host made a special effort to get me some gluten free bread.
  : Two flights of stairs might be difficult for some, though fine for us. Town centre location - great for being in the thick of it, but inevitably some noise from the street and the surrounding houses.

  : The location was superb and the room decor was completely charming. Very elegant. We had a lovely view of the street down below, very romantic with cobblestones and so on. There was a good CD player and mercifully no TV, which meant we relaxed properly before retiring. The mattress was fabulous and great for my back. No aches and pains at all. The owners are charming people, and nothing was too much trouble. The bread was fresh for breakfast, and she made us scrambled eggs which were wonderful buttery. We both like our protein first thing, and so it was wonderful to get this. Also, she cooked fresh stewed apples, cinnamon and scattered it all with almonds, like the filling of an apple strudel. A wonderful surprise. We would go back in a heart-beat, for sure.
  : A few of the electrics had not been tested and were not working. We did not discover this until very late just before retiring, or early in the morning before our hosts were up. Examples: the towel heater was not working as the handheld control device had no battery charge, so when I needed a shower for comfort and to warm up before going to bed, I could not get warm towels. The owner explained the following morning that there is an on/off switch on the underside of the radiator there, but we would not have known to find it or even look for it there. The water was fine for my husband, but not warm enough for me, more like hand warm, and it did not really warm me up. I think the boiler may need an adjustment, although some may disagree with me on this. We were given some milk for tea in the morning, which was a lovely touch, but the kettle did not work, or possibly the socket we tried to use. These things were all brought to the owner's attention and I have no doubt she will deal with them ASAP because she is completely professional in what she does. I just think these things were a few small details she missed, as a matter of exception. New guests: check these things on arrival and advise the owners then if something does not work. We wish we had done this and will do so at all other B&Bs in future. But regardless of these niggles, DO stay at this B&B. It's a lovely venue; they have the fluffiest, friendliest collie to stroke, which is super relaxing; it's right ontop of a local market, and La Rochelle is stunning!

  : It is charming and it has a great breakfast.
  : You can’t pay with credit card, only cash or cheque. You can hear the street quiet a lot and it is not practical if you have luggages. You basically pay a hotel price for a cute BnB.

  : The room was spacious and very clean, in an excellent location and our host was very attentive. The breakfast was fresh pastry, bread and freshly prepared fruit with great coffee. We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend
