  : We loved this apartment. The location is perfect for the lake and close to all the local amenities. The attention to detail is fantastic, with everything you need to make you feel at home. The hosts are so friendly and helpful.

  : The location was great.
  : Immediately upon arrival we noticed pet hair EVERYWHERE, on the floors, on the sofa, in the bathroom. We contacted the innkeepers via text immediately and we were told that Desiree had cleaned the rooms herself but must have forgotten to vacuum. (The trash hadn't been taken out either, mind you.) She said that she lived an hour away and wouldn't be back until Sunday but would see if someone could come and vacuum. We went out to dinner and came back to a hastily vacuumed room. Some of the pet hair was gone but the floors were filthy. All of the pictures are from AFTER someone came to "vacuum." I ended up vacuuming myself just to keep from sneezing. They never washed the bathmats and when we shook them out the bathtub was covered in pet hair. We kept our shoes on inside the apartment at all times. It was like living in a youth hostel. This was the first full week of August and so many places were booked so we decided to stay, despite my partner's allergies. The irony is, there are signs all over the apartment to let Peter and Desiree know if there's anything they can do to make our stay more enjoyable. But when we alerted them to the fact that our room wasn't clean they were very quick to let us know just how far it was for them to come back and take care of it... As we left for the final time, some other woman approached my partner to apologize for the dirty accommodations and tell him that her mother died and that she hired someone to clean but he didn't do a good job. But that woman wasn't Desiree, who texted me to tell me she cleaned the room herself. It was some other lady. Not sure what or whom to believe but no one cleaned that room and no one fixed the problem once we alerted them. We paid $700 for this experience.

  : Bedding was comfy and super warm! We loved the kitchen! Peter was super amazing when we arrived! The amenities were welcoming and we loved the bottle of champagne on NYE!
  : The noise from apartment above was exhausting. The little kids playing and running early in the morning and late into the evening non stop was a little much and distracting while trying to relax. We had two different families while we stayed and both had little kids. Don’t get me wrong...we had our kids too! But the walls are thin...just a fair warning if you want Tahoe quiet.
