Alex Beach Apartment 33

Disappointing

: Nice sea view and pleasant landlady.
: I understand noisier environment in the city center, but this was too much. Lift is scary even for the landlords, you get stuck inside easily if you dont help the door to open. The bathroom was clean, but really old, not up to todays standards.

: Excellent location and easy access to cafe pubs, restaurants and of course beach.
: There were some items that need replacement.eg the bath door needs painting and another locker.

: The little balcony with a full view of the sea was the best feature of this apartment, and the one I really appreciated. Across the street from the beach, on a street full of restaurants and cafes. The apartment was not very big but comfortable. Easy access to the airport with the bus stop right across the street. Another bus stop a few meters away, for buses to go all over Cyprus.
: Being on the beachfront had a down side, of course. Fairly noisy until late at night. And then they happened to have the annual Larnaka marathon that Sunday, with the start line being right outside the building. So, it was extremely noisy from 6am that morning.

  : The location
: Just a warning if you stay during the weekend( including Sunday night)- the bad part: if you want to sleep before 1 am you wont be able because of the music from the downstairs bar- the good part: its quite good music

: This property is super central and Alex is a great host. He met us with the keys and gave us lots of useful information for our stay. You also get a good breakfast at a nearby restaurant.
: The apartment is central - the area is noisy so not good if you are a light sleeper.

: View to the sea, to everything that happens on the seafront, it's nice to sit on the balcony. Very clean property, minus the air conditioning. Very easy access to the beach and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen (I did not use it).
: In the evening there is a strong, hard to bear smell of fried food in the room coming from the ventilation of the restaurants. The air conditioner was dirty and gave off a very bad smell, I stopped using it! This thing bothered me the most. I can't sleep at night because you can hear noise from outside, including during the week the music was loud from the restaurant in front until 12 o'clock at night. After 12 at night you can hear cars, motorcycles or people who are drunk and screaming :) The refrigerator makes a loud noise when it starts and wakes you up at night, I unplugged it. The toilet bowl was not working properly. There is no hot water in the sink, only in the shower. In conclusion, I do not recommend if you want to rest at night.

: This place was really perfect for us and Alex and Martha went above and beyond to help us and give recommendations. I can highly recommend!
: It was a bit noisy late at night on the weekend being above a busy bar but it really wasn't too much of a problem as we still managed to sleep.
