  : The walls were too thin and there was too much noise from other rooms throughout the night. The beds were not comfy and as a result, we did not get enough sleep which is the primary reason why we chose to book the hotel.

  : Our stay in the Flamingo Hotel was a total disaster. After being through many hotel experiences we were much surprised in such a lovely tourist destination as Larnaca/ Cyprus. It was not our first visit to this hotel and to decide to spend a new years holiday here was very normal for us Cypriots. Unfortunately we were faced with malfunctions in the facilities and the amenities. We are senior travellers and to go through certain hardships during a holiday is totally unacceptable for us. Me, personally suffering from an orthopedic problem and my wife, who has a heart condition; cannot bear the consequences. Let me start as from check in: We stated our problems. We were told that the elevator was out of order and we were told to go up a flight of stairs 44 steps. We had no other choice, due to a previously paid reservation. It would have been impossible to find another accomodation on a new years eve and decided to spend the two nights. With all the aches and pains we crawled the stairs because we had planned our holiday with our friends and had made previously paid reservations at venues and restaurants. The room given was dirty. The face towels were missing we were told that what looked like a blue floor towel could be used as such. We rejected and later got provided with two white proper face towels. The electrical system was totally outdated and the light lamp in the toilet did not work properly. The lady at the reception told us to switch it on and wait. We checked the hot water, it was lukewarm, waited, did not get hot, wanted to call the reception much to our chagrin the phone was totally disconnected from the mains. This was a security problem for guests in case they might have faced a problem in the room. The reception lady told us that she would put the temperature of the system higher, funny for a hotel in the winter season.

  : The service is very poor. In the room, the cleaning woman does not make the bed or anything. It only wipes up a very little. The breakfast is of very poor quality.
