  : The guy who did our check in on arrival was lovely, really chatty and welcoming.The location is great.The beds are comfortable.Tea and coffee facilities in the room with biscuits is a nice touch.
  : The room toilet in room 123 was blocked after the first use, we attended Leeds pride so it was early hours in the morning before this was used for the first time.My partner went to reception to report the blockage twice before someone came up to use a plunger to unblock the toilet and this did not fix the issue (I appreciate a blockage is out of anyone's control, it was the treatment and events around it that were disappointing).The guy who eventually came up to block the toilet stood and said it's not working and I do not know what else you want me to do, there is 2 options. You go downstairs to reception toilets each time or I can move you rooms but it will be a twin room with 2 single beds. It is now approximately 6am.My partner opted to move rooms which the guys response was obvious this was an inconvenience with the huffing, he said right I will get a new key card and bring it up - new room 411.He told us the lift was not working so he could take us in the staff lift or walk upstairs, we opted to walk upstairs due to getting our belongings together (He continued to remind us that we still needed to be out by 11am, which is fine as this was the check out time but the last thing you want to hear when it's 6am, having to move rooms and they guy assisting has a inappropriate, rude attitude).When we got to room 411 the key card did not work so my partner had to go back down to reception and get a new key card before we even got into the room.Again, I fully appreciate the blockage was out of anyone's control and I appreciate the option to move rooms, the way in which it was dealt with by the particular member of staff, the way he spoke and made us feel like an inconvenience was disappointing.

  : The hotel lobby was stunning and so was the breakfast. The staff on check in and check out was also very friendly and accommodating.
  : The property is visibly very old and the rooms are in much need of upgrading. Furthermore, the lift was out of service during my stay which for me wasn’t an issue, but could have been for those with accessibility issues or guests carrying lots of luggage.

  : Great location for what we needed. Staff were very accommodating. Arrived early and they sorted out a room for us as we were attending my Daughters graduation. They also did a lovely surprise “congratulations” dessert for when we got back to the room.Nothing was too much trouble. Had post delivered to them which they were fine with.
  : There was a very strong smell of Cannabis coming through the windows and in the car park. I had a headache the whole time we were in the room. Can only assume it was the builders as they had lots of building work going on.

  : Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet selection and supplied a breakfast pack the first morning as we had an early start. Nice bar and restaurant.
  : Hotel undergoing a major refurbishment, which i didn't know, so whole building was clad in scaffolding with work starting at 8.00am. Lift was broken first day so had to make use of the service lift as we were on the 4th floor. Rooms were baking hot and stuffy. Bed sunk in the middle. Bathroom was tired with broken floor tile, the door didnt close and at one point no cold water came out of the taps although this righted itself later.
