  : The staff when they finally arrived in the morning were very helpful and pleasant. The bed didn't look very promising but was comfortable. The location was convenient.
  : We arrived around 7pm after a very long drive, the hotel was in darkness. We called the contact number provided by Booking.com, initially they said they didn't have our booking, then called back to say they had found it. The hotel apparently is unstaffed in the evening due to Covid restrictions. It was very unsettling that they didn't warn us in advance. In the end we were given a code to retrieve our keys from the keysafe but the hotel was in total darkness. A fire extinguisher was being used to prop a fire door open, very unsafe. The room was spartan, twin beds when I requested a double, and there was an odd smell. There was a bleach stain on the very thin carpet. We weren't given the wifi code. We had to guess where to park, it wasn't signposted. The hotel is next to a busy street and was very noisy overnight.
