  : I loved the location of the property. The rooms were good, especially the living and common area. Everything was provided on the site. Which made the stay hassle free. I acnt stop praising the deck and connectiviry to the beach. It was well and buitifully built and maintained.Everything was squeaky clean except the bathrooms.So we were very surprised with the problem we faced.
  : The only problem property had was the bathrooms. Out of the three bathrooms in one of them the toilet was broken down, in the second the tub was filled with spiders along with shoot of plant sprouting from the drain in the tub. We 6 of us had to share one single washroom. We are all pretty impressed with everything except this problem that we faced.

  : Lovely home. Very welcoming and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Lovely big cosy beds - it was only me and my elderly parents, so we used the 2 X doubles and had a lovely sleep. Lots of wardrobe and storage space with sea views from all bedroom windows. Huge kitchen diner and lounge with cosy little reading / TV room at the front. Perfect. Great location. So much less busy than nearby Aldeburgh - you almost have the beach to yourself . Adorable pub within a few minutes walk , where David and his staff greet you with the friendliest smile and serve great tasting food - book on a Sunday ,bas it gets busy !! Lots of interesting things to go and see in surrounding areas. Such a great place to stay in.
  : Nothing to do with house or owner - just a little niggle about Thorpeness. There are no shops so need to drive (or have stuff delivered) to stock up. Can't just nip out for a newspaper or a pint of milk on foot. Sadly that's indicative of the fact that most homes here are seasonal lets - very few are permanent residents. So there aren't enough customers to properly sustain a business - which is sad for the locals. And this has happened right along our beautiful coasts in Britain.
