: Location easy access to walk to train station & town. Staff very attentive to every detail.
: Wish it was an all adult property. There was a large family group staying with kids that were allowed to run the halls until 10PM when the parents made them stay in their rooms & be quiet. We tried to go to sleep about 9PM but was impossible.

: The hotel was excellent, comfortable and with a hint of the traditional feel that I was looking for. Room was very good and the AC was a welcome addition (although the green light from the AC control was extremely bright at night so we covered this up each night!). The owners were good to meet, extremely friendly/approachable and very helpful, and the hotel facilities including the pool were very good. Location is fab though, opposite the kayak/canoe and the river, good parking availability and the pool was very nice, certainly cooled us down when it got really hot. We'd recommend this to all travelling to this area as its far enough away from the main town area to feel independent yet close enough so you can stroll down and back in a matter of minutes.
: Not a lot really. We didn't see the menu before we decided to eat at the hotel so we were unaware of the type of food served, it was very good what we had but the menu was probably a little too extravagant for us in reality, plus if we'd eaten there every day the cost would have soon added up so we ate out in the local restaurants. We normally do this anyhow to immerse ourselves in the local places but this time around we agreed it was the best move for us. The same with the breakfasts, appreciate all hotels need to charge but over a weeks stay this cost adds, so again we had breakfast in the town. But we took advantage of the bar in the evenings!
