  : Chalet had plenty of space and has potential to be a great spot if it's maintained properly. The views of the mountains were awesome and it's easy to walk into town and access restaurants, supermarket, etc. Train into chamonix was great and also easy to get to. Facilities in the chalet were good and we were comfortable with 3 adults and a couple of kids
  : General maintenance was lacking, it was clear we'd either hit the end of season or no one had complained so things had been left to slide. The management company refunded us a bit of money at the end of the stay to apologize, but I'd have rather just had a nice holiday VS a few hundred quid back. Given the cost of the chalet, we'd expected more. Example of issues: The door was broken upon arrival (e.g. the handle was hanging off the door) which meant the door to the back of the chalet remained open throughout our stay. We'd specifically booked a chalet with a garden so our boys could have some outdoor space to play, the garden was overgrown and filled with nettles. Lawn mower was broken so the grass couldn't be cut. Decking was the only space they could play and they got a bunch of splinters. Management company said they'd sort it and then just ran down the clock until we left. Shower downstairs filled up with water, which was gross. Few smaller things, like several cupboards missing doors, the floor on the bottom level clearly needing repair, extractor fan not working in the kitchen, etc which just didn't feel good.
