  : Booked at last minute but host could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Lovely continental breakfast served up. Room spacious, comfortable and good location for ferry crossing to UK. Parking provided immediately outside hotel at no extra cost.
  : Would have been nice to have tea/coffee-making option provided in room - I do like a cuppa before the day's beginning/end!!

  : Location excellent for the ferry back to the UK. Short drive. Also very close to the beach. Good en suite with one of the most easiest showers to use and almost instant hot water.

  : The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach. There is plenty of parking on-site and across the road and there are no additional parking charges. The owner was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. Shower worked well. Check in is easy so there was no stress about arriving late on the ferry and reception being closed. Only a short drive from the ferry and the location was quiet.
  : We were not in the main hotel, probably because of our arrival time and the room was very small. A kettle in the room would have made a difference.

  : The location was near the beach and the ferry. It was quiet. The sheets were clean and the mattress comfortable. We had a window and a skylight .
  : Our booking confirmation stated a double room in the main building of the hotel. The specific 2 photos in our booking showed a double bed in a nice size room and a bathroom with a separate shower. The general photos of the hotel showed a nice outdoor area. However we were given a small twin bed attic room with a sloping ceiling up 2 flights of stairs in a cheaply converted house on the opposite side of the road. When I rechecked my booking details and went back and queried this with the manager he was very dismissive and said the photos shown on booking.com arent necessarily what you are going to get and that we couldnt be in the main hotel as they were full. We booked at least 5 weeks ago . He didnt care what our booking said about being in the main building. Also no soap for the basin just a small bottle of shampoo/shower gel and no air conditioning - a kettle would have been handy. The pillows were ridiculously huge, firm and lumpy , like rocks , impossible to sleep on. I notice someone had previously mentioned this also yet nothing has changed. I had to bend right over when getting out of bed because of the sloping ceiling and climb into the bath to have a shower. Im sure we were in a cheaper room than I booked but the manager refuted this. Not impressed Im afraid. I use booking.com all the time and have always had the room (or equivalent standard room) shown in my booking and in the location stayed (as in main building or separate annex etc). I hardly ever give a bad review. Luckily we were only there for one night.
