: Value for money, bike storage and clean.
: The receptionist and the entire checking in process was horrible. Firstly the receptionist scolded us for using the wrong entrance (we entered via the back) which was the way Google maps lead us, and there was no way to tell it was the back entrance. There was a sign for the hostel and automatic doors. The large entrance gate was also wide open. Secondly the receptionist demanded proof of residence from me. I am German, and came with a German passport. A passport does not contain an address, and I do not live in Germany in fact I have not lived there since I was a young child. Nevertheless the receptionist insisted that because I am German, I MUST have a German address which is on some official ID. I have not done anything Illegal but The reception made me feel like a criminal and lacks proper training. By law, my signed written statement is enough proof of address. Luckily I had a Czech certificate of temporary residence permit which she settled for in the end (not that it is also not legally necessary to even have such a certificate in the Czech Republic, it is purely optional to apply for it). On top of that the whole process took about 30 minutes.

: Staff at the reception was friendly and there was a beer included in the price. The room had everything we needed and the bathroom was clean.

: The ambiance of the hostel is excellent! The history of the building - a monastery - shows itself. The restaurant and beer brewery on the ground floor have excellent beer and food. The hospitality of the staff - even with a language barrier - is prefect.
: My room was on the street side of the building. The restaurant outside was a bit noisy (but this is to be expected).

: The location is good, staff is great - very friendly. Toilets and bathrooms were very clean. The beer is also very good.
: The bed seemed old as it was creaking loudly with every little move. It was not possible to have a normal sleep
