  : Stunning penthouse with 2 large balconies and river views
  : Communication very bad. Required to pay 300 security deposit, which I did and then getting queries when it would be paid after I sent copies of bank transfer 3 times. Booking.com said I would receive key code a week before I check in, which did not happen so had so spend 30 minutes on phone calls on check-in day. There were no normal size towels in master bedroom, no bins in the room or bathroom. Apartment is new so suspect still part of snagging.

  : The decor and cleanliness were excellent.
  : Around 9pm the night before my stay I had a phonecall asking me to give my card details over the phone for a 300 deposit. I didnt give my card details over the phone because the person on the phone had the wrong reservation details for me, stating it was a 1 bedroom apartment when I had booked 2 bedroom and the whole thing seemed quite strange. I had secured my booking by credit card but they said they couldnt use those details. I stayed on the phone I had paid for a 2 bedroom apartment, not a 1 bed.I messaged the property through booking.com to ask about the phonecall, to clarify whether I had to pay a deposit and to ask for confirmation of either a one or two bed. The response was entirely unrelated, didnt address my questions and instead said if I wanted a late checkout I could for an additional sum of money. I had never mentioned late checkout. After stating this, and asking again they said they would send me a secure link to pay the security deposit, I did this. Then they came back to say I hadnt paid for the room, I had to do this too and sent me another link, I was now exasperated, already in Liverpool and rather than pay again I went through booking.com app and ensured the room was paid for through them. They came back to say it was a 1 bed, not what I booked and they would send me the code for entry at 3:45pm. I had stated I would arrive at 3pm. I had booked for 2 adults and 2 children in a 2 bedroom, and the confirmation email also said sea view. I was given a 1 bed on opposite side of building looking at main road. I was charged for a 2 bed and have not been offered partial refund despite being assured on the phone they would come back to me on this.

  : Huge appartment, very central. Beds v.comfortable, great balconies with views of Mersey a nd the Liver building . Great value.
  : Only half the curtain hanging in one bedroom, had to ask for cutlery.which was locked away. Kettle was high tech and couldn't switch on - need a manual for it and the coffee machine.300 security deposit at last minute, return in 7-14 days a bit steep.

  : Different property in different area to the one we had booked. The one we stayed in was in noisy location. Apartment was big but unfinished e.g. TV plugged into an extension lead trailing over floor, unwrapped pictures on the floor. No WiFi.

  : Fantastic location, close to all attractions. Apartment is nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. Great view from the balcony.
  : It's just a little difficult to figure out where the door is to access the apartment as there is no sign saying ALUR apartments.
