  : The location was great and the rooms were very clean and safe and comfortable. It was a short walk to Albert Docks
  : It would have been nice to have an electric kettle in the room so we could make a cup of tea. Instead, there was a machine in the hall where you had to pay a pound for hot water. It only took £1 coins, which isn't very convenient in a cashless society

  : The location of the property was ideal for the area we needed to be. It was within walking distance, so saved us money in taxis... and was handy for the city centre too. The price was fair for a triple room on a saturday night.
  : There were way too many stairs for a start! This hotel is certainly not accessible for disabled or those with mobility issues, such as myself! The stairs are very narrow too, which makes them more difficult to accend & descend... (especially for someone who has mobility issues like myself) The room itself was very basic. No kettle or other tea/ coffee making facilities... the coffee machine on the landing was very outdated and didn't work properly. In our room (no7) there was mould around the windowframe and also the shower plug... There was also only a couple of sockets in the room, which were located in awkward places. Not enough storage either. Also the attitude of the staff was a massive let down from the off. They were very rude, abrupt, condescending, and unhelpful. Especially the man behind the bar when we were trying to check in. I didn't agree with the extra £50 as a security deposit either, a swe disnt book direct with them, we were not notified about this prior to arrival. The cleaning staff the next morning was probably the most helpful of all. I certainly would not be rebooking here in a hurry again though, Thats for sure!

  : I came to check in late and did not meet anyone to give me the key to the room. There was no Reception desk . After a long wait, I went to the bar to meet the owner. A girl came and spoke in a manner that was not nice at all. After a long conversation, another person came to help and said that my reservation from the Booking website did not appear to him in the system, so he will do me a new reservation. and I have to pay a deposit £50 for the room if there is any destruction of the property. The important thing is that after all this I entered the room and hoped that after all this suffering, it would be worth it, but not the worst room ever. The bed is not comfortable like a prison bed. The window has no view. The bathroom is unclean and old. and the small is suffocated ، During the night I opened the window because it was hot .There was an annoying sound from the air conditioner all night long. I really regret booking in this hotel. It is not worth all this money. Poor environment.

  : Shower not very clean. Didn't use it. Check in and check-out process very slow waiting to get your deposit back.No kettle in room but offer machine in hallway at a £1 each but once made latte was vile.I know weather was hot but no restbite available with windows open and noisy extractor below window.

  : Very clean room, bathroom and hall area made good use if the tiny space. Nice lad on reception on check out.
  : Having to go in a sports pub on a side street full of men in order to check in. Having the bar lady take photos of my bank card on personal phone to take 'security deposit'. Made to feel very uncomfortable. From around 1am to 4am the people in next room had a party and were shouting and screaming running up and down the stairs. Security came twice to deal with the problem. Had zero sleep as a result too scared to leave! Oh and they held the £50 deposit for over a week despite communication to prevent this. No facility to get a hot drink other than a very dirty old dispenser in the hall that is broken.
