  : Food was very good with tables well spaced.
  : Traffic noise during the night. Unexpected but little one can do due to the location. The staff didnt clean our bathroom or provide fresh towels or soap for the second day of our stay.

  : Had the hotel to ourselves as no other hotel guests booked in.Location fab, lovely pub/restaurant/hotel.Clean and tidy and very welcoming, friendly staff.Breakfast was amazing.Didn't eat in the evening as the one veggie option wasn't to our 5aste but they did offer to be flexible and offered us two other dishes but we decided to explore Dolgellau for a change. Have been to the curry night before...excellent definitely stay again.
  : Not that I didn't like it but think it's a tad expensive, i know the key is in 'upmarket'.Vegetarian options on menu were limited, we just wanted something simple but as I said they said they could be flexible and offered two other options thank you.Our room was on the road so got a bit of traffic noise and the headlights reflecting into the room but due to remote location of the hotel after about 10pm they were few and far between.Struggled to get any other channel on TV other than BBC1 and even that kept vanishing but that's the drawback of the lovely remote location.Some damage to the table from cup stains but more than likely inconsiderate guests.None of the above spoiled our stay and nothing we felt the need to complain about either.

  : Fabulous location!Nice structure, decent food, clean.
  : The price was absolutely ridiculous! Never paid so much for a room, so we were expecting a super luxurious experience. However the room was nothing more than a basic room with some extra features but did not match basic comfortable standards (e.g. uncomfortable bed). Very disappointing!We also had mixed experience with food service. Generally very slow, missed orders or mixed up at almost every meal.Overall we had an enjoyble stay, but we can't justify the ridiculously high price.
