  : Stayed for 1 night over the bank holiday weekend. Lovely friendly hotel. Room was excellent with really comfy kingsize bed. Plenty of room for my 2 furbabies!! Great little village with some spectacular views. Parking available. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Shirley was lovely being Jack of all trades. Franco cooked excellent meals, our breakfast was so tasty! The vine tomatoes were so sweet! Best iv ever tasted. David was front of house. Great little team!
  : There was nothing we didn't like but if I had to pick one thing it would be that the hotel doesn't opened until 5pm. However we were fortunate that we were able to check in early as room was ready.

  : Nothing Had expected a warm friendly hotel / guest house , but got a dark deserted pub with no customers .
  : The bedroom was up a small dark and twisty set of stairs at the back of a pub , it was small and in need of an upgrade . The evening meal (that we declined ) looked overpriced and we would have had to eat at 6.00pm ,even though only 1 table was occupied. When we returned at 8.45pm after eating out in a local restaurant the pub was in darkness , no staff ,no customers, we had to let ourselves in with a key for the side door in semi darkness . We were the only ones in the premises , saw no one until morning . The English breakfast which we had to order when booking in was a small bowl of cornflakes , 1 fried egg ,1 rasher of bacon ,,4 very small tomatoes and 2 pieces of toast. We decided to leave at 9.45 am but by then all the staff had gone and the pub was again locked and deserted. We put the keys on the bar counter and left with out seeing anyone . We had paid for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 . A bad experience.

  : The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner. Our room was clean and functional. The host dogs were wonderful as was the team ! It was out of season so the bar is not available all evening but it was not an issue for us. we enjoyed our stay.
  : No train service due to work on Barmouth Bridge.
