  : Staff was lovely bed comfortable but everything else was a mess. Showers were terrible no hot water plan. This could’ve been a hell of a lot better.

  : I have stayed in the Cromwell hotel before and the place remains the best value for money in South Kensington. The staff is absolutely great and welcoming. They will arrange anything for you and this is very much appreciated. The hotel is under renovation and it looks much better now. The room are brand new and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

  : 1)I booked a twin room on booking.com and the room issued to us was a double. This wasted 30 mins of time.2)We were then given another room with 2 beds and told by staff who took us to the room, it was our fault for the mix up because we had booked the room last year.3)The new room had vast amounts of mould on the ceiling. The door handle on the cupboard was hanging off the door. The sheets on the bed were dirty.4)During the night the night porter issued keys to our room to 2 other guests and they came into our room at 01.00am in the morning waking both of us up and scaring us as we thought we were getting attacked.5)30 mins later we were woken up again by the night porter and he wanted to check our ID and proof of payment. He then insisted that I go with and get dressed to reception. I then had to spend 15 mins at reception explaining to him that it was his job to find a room for the other guests and not mine. I paid to stay in a room to get a good nights sleep not deal with hotel staff incompetence
  : 6)There is no correct use of the booking system The porter had no idea who was in what room. The booking information was not checked when we arrived at the Hotel. It was dirty and unhealthy due to mould. There is also the worrying thing that there is no security customers can just come into a room and then the porter can. This is no way to run a hotel and verges on being Faulty towers. Shocking.7)On leaving the Hotel Cromwell I spoke to reception and raised the issues of last night. The receptionist agreed with all my complaints and that they were valid. He promised me a 100% refund due the issues that happened on my stay 02/07/24. I completed the complaint form with all the information he required.
