  : The room was really clean, everything looks exactly like in the pictures.

  : The room is beautiful but everything else is just disgusting.
  : The communication with them is awful. To give us access to our room, we had to wait in a dirty, no seats lobby for over 30 minutes after the check in hour. And 38 minutes is an eternity after a long, non sleep airplane trip.The building is dirty, so disgusting! And every night there was a fight, and on the 3rd night the fight was so huge that there was police all over the place. It was very scary so we left despite we had 3 more (non refundable) nights left.A good place is not only about pretty decoration, its a place where first you feel safe, and second the surroundings are consistent with the room

  : Proximity to downtown LA. Excellent value. Evening time was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent response time to inquiries.

  : price for location and therefore quick distance to major attractions (ktown, universal, food)fast response from 'owner' or whoever ran the room. however, check in process had a mild hiccup with the access code to the actual hotel room, and i wish it was presented with the 'check in text' (there is two, one for building and one to room)
  : PARKING. you have to find street parking, so if you're traveling with a car, chances are you're going to be out all day and return later at night. at NIGHT street parking appears DANGEROUS in certain nearby streets, and on streets that are better lit with less litter/lurking people, spaces are GONE or it does not allow parking. on average spent about 20-30 minutes for decent parking.cleanliness- pictures are accurate sorta. the furniture match, however the first night i stayed a cockroach scurried through the bathroom floor while i showered. since the building is old, not necessarily the room's fault. only happened once.toiletries- the hand soap was empty after two pumps. used dish soap available in the bottom cabinet. shampoo also ran out after 4 pumps. its nice that shower toiletries were offered , but if a room is going to offer them, maybe physically clean the bottles as well? the obvious signs of usage was really off putting. same goes for the straightener that was available- dirty, grimy. please clean..IF I KNEW- i would've brought my own towel/shampoo/conditions/hand soap/body washNOT available (for reference)- hair dryer, toothpaste, proper bath towels (2 beach towels were available)OVERALL- not a hotel. closer to an airbnb. i found the room on booking.com, so i assumed it'd be a hotel but it had a bigger Bring your own- vibe, and i'd just bring everything you'd need to comfortably wind down for bed.
