  : Unfortunately, our family trip was ruined by the fire alarm going off very loudly (and very sensitively to unburnt toast) and there being no way to turn it off, no way to contact the landlord and no form of apology from them. It went off continuously for over 90 minutes with no way of turning it off, at an early hour, waking half of the house on Sunday morning including our poor dad on his 70th birthday. We know there was no other way to turn it off because one of us is a fire fighter. This was clearly a malfunction with no contingency planning. We can't impress enough how stressful it is waking up the the fire alarm going off for over an hour. We managed to get through to an emergency contract but she wasn't able to get hold of the landlord or agent... It was by chance that the shop next door was opening when it was and able to turn it off with a key - had the alarm gone off earier, this the situation would have continued much longer. We weren't able to cook the roast dinner we had bought and planned because we couldn't bare to hear that alarm again... Had we known there was a chance that this might happen, we would NOT have booked the place. We appreciate that this is a situation where you have to be there to understand the awfulness of it, but in light of the complete lack of understanding from the landlord, felt compelled to write this review.In addition, the heating was awful, it was very hot when we arrived and then often cold in some bedrooms - the landlord controls the heating from his phone bizarrely.

  : This property is tired, dirty and full of damp. It should not be available to rent until it has had a full renovation and issues with damp fixed

  : Fully equipped, and spacious. Nice hot powerful shower on one level, and bath/shower on another level. Contact with the property was brilliant too, easily contacted on what's app. (Once we got it working) heating was very warm. Kitchen had all we needed to cook bacon buttys all round, good size fridge/freezer. Bedrooms were all comfy, and towels were provided. We used property as a base to get into blackpool which was about 10 minutes drive. Parking was provided for 2 cars (parking for more than that is limited around the property). They have took a £200 deposit for breakages, hopefully get that refunded back into my bank shortly (as nothing was broke)
  : Entry into property wasn't direct, you parked your car at back of the property, but access was only via the front door which was along the back of the properties, then along a row of a few shops, this was a struggle carrying all the small baby's items and luggage

  : The maintenance of the property was poor; damp patches in walls in multiple bedrooms, mouldy grout in shower tray. Beds need mattress protectors, one mattress was stained.
