Dream Boathouse

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Everything - the location, the sunset, the rustic fishermans house, the extra toilet but most importantly the fabulous hosts Antonnia and her family. Antonnia went out of her way to help us book a boat tour, dropped at kettle off in the wee hours of the morning and I believe might have given us a significant discount on dinner at their very popular family owned restaurant in Plaka. It was just a fab stay!
: We enjoyed everything, even if the toilet in the bathroom didnt quite work. Luckily there was an extra bathroom downstairs that did the trick.

Poor

: The location and views were amazing.
: The property was extremely poorly resourced. No soap, shampoo or water. No salt, tea or toaster. No wifi password, no gas to stove to cook with. Pillows were unbearable and the power kept tripping out. We contacted management who said owner had been trying to contact us to rectify complaints. We did not hear from them. After 24 hours we got bottles of water and gas for the cooktop. An electrician was sent around after 48 hours and many complaints about the lack of facilities. Communication from the owner was terrible. No luxury at all, just the bear minimum provided with towels and linen. Price is premium and owners are not offering a premium product. You are simply paying for the view. Neighbouring boathouses had better facilities.

: Very compact and basic accomodation but the location and uniqueness makes up for this.
