Located in the car-free village of Bettmeralp directly at the skiing slopes and 20 metres from the Platter Ski Lift Hotel Aletsch offers a restaurant. : We had a wonderful family room with an extraordinary view. The hotel is next to the cable car to the glacier and next to the rope park which is nice for kids. The restaurant is also a good option, with a lot of choices. We also received free entrances for the swimming pool which our children really enjoyed.

: Staff was very friendly, helpful and the English of the lady/owner at the front desk was good (the rest of Bettmeralp village didn't speak much English) so this is also a good place to stay if you don't speak German or French. Location was good (hiking trails and several cable car routes).
: Don't know if it's a really a minus point. The hotel restaurant had good traditional swiss food which I enjoyed. If you want to try some other cuisine or eat game on a certain evening of your stay you may have to eat at another place.

: Excellent location with fabulous views. The staff and owners were extremely helpful and kind. We were made to feel very welcome, and given a free pick up from the station. The breakfast was was hearty - the bread phenomenal - and the half board dinner was delicious. They have a very good restaurant. They also helped us with good advice for the hiking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
