  : Rafa, at the front desk was great. Friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is walking distance to the Gran Via. Close to the metro and attractions.

  : Nice design, rooms are very small. Hanger for clothes is on top of the desk with kettle. Room was facing the courtyard, no natural light
  : The staff forgot to put the towels which I have discovered only when I took the shower. Couldn't switch off one off the lights. It turned out that there is remote control for it! The phone is not working, impossible to call reception as well as Alexa is not set up to call reception. I had to sleep with this light on. Breakfast in a different hotel

  : Perfect location, excellent as a base for exploring Madrid. Nice little Juliet balcony and when doors were shut they blocked out the city noise very effectively.
  : Bathroom was quite dark and the shower didn't drain effectively, so had to use towels to mop up.

  : The hotel is beautifully decorated and quite quirky with a maze of hallways. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.The location is superb - in the old part of Madrid with lots of coffee shops, retail, bars and restaurants. The metro is close by and there are lots of parts that are easily accessible.Arthur on the front desk was so helpful, even coming to my room to show me how the air conditioning worked. He always had a smile and nothing was too much.The bag containing a bun an an orange for breakfast was a nice touch.
  : There was a bad smell in my room that persisted for the 2 days I was there. In my room there was a long hallway with a window with net curtains on it. For some reason there were no other curtains on the window so when it was light there was no way to block it. While I was on a work trip this was fine, but if I had been there on holiday it would have been upsetting as I can't get back to sleep if there is light in the room. The fact that there are no lights by the bed was strange as well as I either had to have all the lights on or none.The room I was in had not mobile reception and the wifi was quite weak.
