  : Everything it was great. The location was fantastic which is the main reason we chose the apartments. We like to walk everywhere so it was ideal for all the places we visited. It was comfortable with great facilities. There was a little box with washing up liquid sponge dishwasher tablets etc. It was modern and comfortable. The shower was powerful and strong nice towels, shampoo etc. A little nespresso coffee machine and four pods was a nice little touch.
  : The check in was a little tricky as it was early hours of the morning after a long protracted journey with flight delays and the code didnt work. It was sorted eventually when we called the emergency number. The only other slight point was that other guests were noisy when leaving and let the fire door slam shut rather than holding it until it closed which echoed and made a horrendous loud noise every time. This could easily be rectified by putting a polite notice saying close gently (which we did outbid courtesy to others) when we left the building.

  : Location and security.
  : No dishwashing or clothes washing equipment. No tea towels, dishwashing liquid or tablets for the dishwasher. There were no blankets or warmer bed linen either so we had to use the heater more than we would have liked. The other apartments we booked through booking.com in Spain and Portugal were better equipped. Remote check-in meant that we could not comment fully about the staff. The other accommodation we booked provided a more personalised service. It would have been more useful for booking.com to make clear for all its accommodation that check-in would be remote. We almost didnt get in due to remote check-in.

  : It was very comfortable and spacious for a studio flat. It was stylish, well furnished, modern and airy, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for proximity to Retiro Park, Reina Sofia, Atocha Station and local supermarkets.
  : Poor soundproofing. We heard noise and voices clearly from adjacent apartments and properties.
