  : The location is pretty great, very close to Gran Via and to Puerta del Sol, very close to many bus stations and underground stations, there are many restaurants, cafes and bars in the area, it is also close to some grocery stores. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, lots of freshly baked pastries, cheeses, fresh fruit, etc. and attentive staff. You can check in online. The liquid soap and shampoo smelled great and weren't drying (I would buy some if they sold them).
  : The dcor is very tired and could definitely use some sprucing up. We stayed on the fourth floor, the rooms there have slanted ceilings - which render one side of the bedroom completely unusable for anyone over 5.5 feet tall. There was a skylight, which is cool, but no window that could be opened to let some fresh air inside. The dining hall is small and crowded (especially on the weekend). There is only one elevator. Surprisingly, Gran Via and the small streets around it can feel a bit dodgy after 22:00.

  : the reception staff was super nice, they make sure someone was there to receive us after we texted them we were arriving in the early morning and helped us to explain how to get to the metro we needed to take. Also in the room you have enough towels and anything that you need for your stay and AC.
  : The rooms are small and close to each other, so you can hear people, we stayed on a bedroom for 2 people, but still we felt it was a bit too small, and there is a light that it automatically stays on and on the first night we didnt know how to turn it off but after like an hour it turned off on its own.
