  : The location of this pub is absolutely breathtaking. There is a terrace with views over the rolling hills and countryside. We had the same view from our room. The room had its own entrance away from the pub which meant it was not noisy and also it felt safe in these Covid times. There was a good selection at breakfast. There are nice walks right on your doorstep. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we both slept well. Although we did not have our dogs with us this time it was clearly a very dog friendly environment. The food we ate was delicious. The landlord was also very friendly and helpful.
  : The things that could have been better may have been down to Covid. There was very little choice of food if you are not a meat eater. I can imagine though it is not a time to have to wide a menu due to possible wastage. The rooms could have done with some local information, but again this might have been an issue with people touching it. It is not possible to get much on the TV. This is definitely not the fault of the very helpful landlord. However it would be helpful to know this in advance so one could make sure on had books or other entertainment with one for the evening. These are not criticisms and we would love to go back. The comments are really just to help others who are planning a visit.

  : The location was superb, stunning views from bedrooms. Extremely comfortable and spacious room, spotlessly clean.

  : Great food prepared by Agnes. Comfortable good sized room with separate access and views. Beautiful surrounding countryside - sadly shrouded in mist/rain when we visited. Proximity to coast.
  : Reaching the pub via super narrow country lanes was rather nerve wracking but that was doubtless because we took the wrong route - good to do prior research re this.
