  : Location. Parking. Washing machine. Cleanliness in the kitchen and bathroom.
  : Very bad wifi reception even after contacting agency to make it work. Landlady speaks only italian. Noise from other apartments is very disturbing, thin walls. The smell from the toilet. The smoke of cigarettes from other apartments. Cupboards had slamming doors. There were no mosquito nets on windows.

  : It was a great place to stay for 7 nights at a good price - well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, located in a quiet area just minutes from the beach and less than a 10-minute walk from the center of town. There's a balcony attached to the bedroom - I had my breakfast there every morning. The apartment has a big comfortable bed, nice bathroom (with good shower pressure), kitchen (with dishes, utensils, etc) with dining table and couch, two air conditioners and wi-fi. Everything worked fine.
  : A few things were missing: bowls (e.g. for cereal, so I had to use a cup); some detergent for the washing machine; some salt, sugar, cooking oil, tea, coffee; and an extra roll of toilet paper. Also, I had to switch on the bathroom boiler on the first day to start getting hot water (but be careful: the water can get scalding hot if you move the handle too far).

  : We had an apartment on the upper floor for a week at the beginning of June, and were very impressed by the quality of accommodation. It was very spacious, clean and well-equipped. Large comfortable bed, good air conditioning and a lovely balcony to sit out on which caught the sun until mid-afternoon. An easy 5 minute walk to the fantastic sandy beach where there are a few bars and restaurants, and about 10 minute walk to the town centre. When you arrive at the apartment you need to call Maria to let you in, as there is no reception desk. She is very kind and helpful but doesn't speak much English. We did not have a car so we used the local buses to travel round the island. To save the hassle of buying separate tickets for each bus you can buy a travel pass for a set number of days, which was very economical. Would happily stay here again if we come back to Elba.
