  : Beautiful property away from the crowd. Perfect place to unwind and relax. Hosts were super friendly.

  : We had a lovely stay at the house. Keep in mind that its an old house which means the interior is dated. The bathroom is old but sufficient. However, the area is beautiful and romantic. The hosts are very nice people. We loved the breakfast!!
  : Hygene could be better. Also, the way/route to the hotel is very rocky. It is an off road path.

  : It has the potential to be a truly beautiful property; nestled in the countryside with spacious grounds. It has a pleasant laid-back vibe and the bilingual owners are very obliging.
  : As well as being a hotel, it is a family home and this is seen in the clutter in and around the house. Sadly, it is seriously neglected. Weeds overrun the garden, the shutters are rotten and our bathroom, across the hallway to our room, was dirty, outdated and split - with the toilet being on one side of a staircase in a divided cubicle with a thin partitioned wall between ours and anothers toilet (think hostel bathroom) and the bath/shower head being at the other side of the staircase. So much potential; but so much needs doing to really make this an enjoyable stay.

  : The house is quite rundown and cluttered. Not really what we expected from the photos and the price range. The rooms feel a bit overpriced, considering the lack of facilties and the lack of maintanance.

  : The location as long as you are looking for piece and quietness. The garden was beautiful and breakfast was good too
  : Cleanliness for sure. There was dust everywhere. In the wardrobe there was a duvet covered in wood dust. The toilet and bathroom were in the outside and not together, which was quite inconvenient.

  : The property is a magnificent traditional French mansion full of character with a glorious rear garden (the outdoor breakfast here is an absolute highlight) leading through a wood to the etang and plenty of parking at the front. It's showing its age in places but this is real France, not a corporate hotel chain. The location is remote and tranquil. The stunning "Pink Room" contains historic furniture, paintings, books and mirrors but also with an efficient modern electric fan, very useful for warm summer nights. The bathroom has working whirlpool bath and shower. The large balcony is shared with one other room. The hosts (Marie, Fleur and Florian) are genuinely charming and couldn't have been more welcoming, along with the resident black labrador, a cute and sleepy five-year-old called Obi-Wan. You will feel as if they are delighted to see you and really want you to enjoy your stay
  : There is a very long, winding and narrow track/road leading to the property which may test your driving skills especially if another vehicle approaches you from the other direction, but if you note the designated passing places along the way you will be able to handle this minor inconvenience. At the very least, it does guarantee the serenity of the location when you finally arrive
