  : Lovely old building out of town, amazing view across the city. Better reached by bus (5min walk) metro great but a good 15+minutes walk uphill, so not best option if returning after a long day ( or raining)
  : Proper youth hostel vibes - which I liked but not for everyone, and in male dorm of 8 (not full)an idiot gets up at 6.45am and noisily rearranged his suitcases for about 20 mins. Not the places fault its just to be aware. Also bring your own towel

  : The staff was really nice and polite. The price is really good and the breakfast was also good. The kitchen is spacious and you can use it to make your meals which is really convenient.
  : The only downside is the location. I, for one, don't mind it not being in the center as long as it's close to a station. With maps, it shows thag the hostel is within 6 minutes of walking from a metro station, but that is actually a shortcut going by the park, which is closed in the evening. Since on my first day it was past 19h and I didn't know anything, the park was closed and I had to take a whole detour and ended up walking for 20 minutes and had to ask for local help to get there. It felt a bit dangerous walking alone at night there. The 2nd day I didn't wanna risk it even if I had already come back at 18h, so I went through another route instead (I took the metro and bus and left in the other side of the main entrance, that only made me walk 8 minutes, much metter than before), but maps doesn't show that route. In the end, it's up to the park being open and what route you wanna take.Other than that, I have nothing to complain. It really is only a bit difficult to get there.As I shared a room, it was difficult to sleep because of the people there (typical hostel thing) but the beds were comfortable.

  : Facilities are good and what you would expect from a Hostel. Building itself is great and very historic Area is very quiet and not that much traffic Breakfast was good and functional
  : Beds were a bit noisy at every movement you made On Sunday morning there was a flea market in the garden of the Hostel so there was a lot of noise outside starting from 05.00

  : Facilities are in need of repair (showers, plumbing, toilets)No water pressure and showers would stop mid shower and then eventually come on again.People can check in at any time and come into the roomsdont expect to get any sleep when its busy. Some of the guests seem like drifters(possibly homeless) so theres a definite air of uncertainty.Breakfast isnt anything specialbasic.This facility needs some serious money dropped into it, then it may have potential. Exterior landscaping needs some serious work.Staff were extremely nice and helpful. So I would suggest the city of Marseille should pay their employees well, because theyre the only ones holding this place together.The rooms seem very institutionalizedlike it could have been a psych ward, may want to consider renovating and then this city owned property has potential.
