: the apartment was spacious, cool and clean. a very short walk to the beach and the restaurants. Giusy the landlady was exceptionally helpful and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay
: noise in the evening from the holiday village beside the apartment - mainly someone shouting into a microphone as part of the evening entertainment. fortunately this stopped at midnight. we closed the windows and turned on the ac and it was not so bad.

: The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive without being intrusive. They made our stay so much better with tips on how to get around and avoid tourist traps. We were with 2 seniors and were grateful for the extra help. The apartment was clean and tidy with most things you would need to self-cater, and a pleasant garden. The location was also very good, very close to the Marina and a beach club with a mini-mart / restaurant next door. The bus stop to leave was 20metres from the front door. Our trip to Capri from here couldn't have been easier - management recommended a boat tour, we booked a day ahead and it left from the marina 500metres away.
: Nothing negative about the apartment or staff at all! I would recommend this place to a family or people wanting a relaxing holiday. It's a little impractical as a base to explore because you rely on the buses or boats, and the amenities are limited, but for a short, quiet break it was fine. The beach is busy, 100% pebbles and you mostly have to hire a sunbed (which can be fully booked!), but the water is clean.

: What an amazing 2 week stay at Villa Calu with my husband and 2 children (age 10 and 8). Giusy is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble. There are 6 apartments with a shared pool but it felt like a private pool most days! Marina del Cantone is a lovely small village with a handful of restaurants and stunning beach, with some great local walks. There are boat trips to Amalfi and Capri, or you can even hire a boat. The bus service to Sorrento is great so we didn't need to hire a car. Next door is a campsite which has a very handy shop and they also do takeaway pizzas. The accommodation is great and towels / bedding are changed regularly. All in all a real gem of a find
: The campsite next door had a loud children's disco on a few nights but not a problem indoors, just when sat outside.
