  : Would never stay here again. There was no check in or staff for hotel - we were given a key by the bartender and no one was available to service the room. They tried to "encourage" us to pay in cash. When I refused they let us use a credit card through a Square terminal. In the room there was visible dust and grit on the floor, and the bathroom sink & toilet had not been cleaned. There were clean bath towels but the hand towels had obviously been used by prior occupant. There were no bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, etc) and only 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper with no extra rolls. There was a coffee pot & coffee packets in the room but no cups, sugar, etc. Bed sheets were clean, heating/cooling was fine. We only stayed because surrounding hotels were all booked. Fortunately there was a Kwik Trip next door where we could pick up snacks, coffee, and sanitizing wipes. This was better than camping but definitely NOT worth the $110/night we were charged. I feel terrible giving them a negative review because they were clearly understaffed, but the room was REALLY bad.

  : Our visit felt a little like stepping back in time. Every part of the hotel reflected it's 150 year history. Waking up in room #1 and stepping out onto the second floor deck to over look downtown McGreger, made me feel as if it was 1890.

  : Cleanliness!!!! We refused to stay the night, the many was rude when I confronted about dead bugs in the room, she said hadnt been checked for 2wks and it is harvest time. Had to walk on bird poop to get to the room.

  : It was filthy when we arrived. Toilet had not been cleaned. Dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere. Floors and rugs had food crumbs everywhere and the tub/shower had a horribly disgusting shower curtain in it. We called downstairs and they had a very nice young girl check the room and then she came back and cleaned the toilet and swept the floor. They also did credit us $30 but it truly was not worth it. The beds were so uncomfortable it felt like a waterbed when we moved. Pillows were old and flat and some stained.

  : Room refrigerator (but it was dirty inside), coffee maker and coffee provided (but no cups)
  : Very dirty room, especially bathtub (even ring of dirt and dusty dirt all over the edges), top of toilet (hairs and dusty dirt), floorboards really really dirty including hairs in bathroom, trash on floor in main living space (used spoon and other small trash items), refrigerator with goop still on inside. No cup of any sort for either water or coffee. Room is above a restaurant/bar that was supposed to close at 9 pm. But lots of loud people talking and yelling loudly outside rooms until well after midnight. This was a problem for us as we had to get up at 5 am to leave for 6 am to get to an activity. Bed was supposed to be Queen size....but it was much closer to just a Full size bed. Only 2 large towels for 2 people. As a person with long hair, I usually use 2 large towels so that I can wrap one around my wet hair. 2.5% extra fee to use credit card to pay for room. No credit cards at all accepted for restaurant/bar below the rooms. ATM available, but that would have cost extra fees also.
