  : The hotel is situated well
  : Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at the hotel.Our 13 month old baby picked up a stomach bug and vomited on the rug and the bed just as we arrived in the hotel room. There was minimal vomit on the bed sheets but we had these changed to ensure the bed was clean. Rather than the hotel staff showing some compassion for our poorly baby, they were clearly not happy about this request. We thought we had cleaned the rug but the following day we requested the hotel to clean as it needed a deeper clean. Unknown to us they decided to remove the rug from our room but we thought it was just so they could clean without disruption to us. After this we heard no more on the matter. I might add that the cleanliness of the rug was questionable and theroom actually benefited from it not being in there. On the day of checkout, I was upstairs in the hotel room and noticed the payments had already been processed, as they popped up on my phone. I thought this odd as I hadnt yet gone down to reception and did not give authorisation to use the card I booked with. However, the man on reception assured me that two payments had been made, one for the room and one for the parking. This matched the two card receipts that he handed over to me. However, when we left the hotel and drove to the airport I noticed a 3rd transaction. I immediately phoned and was told we were charged 150 euros for the cost to clean the rug. My husband and I couldnt believe what we were hearing, not once during our 3 night stay or at checkout did anyone mention to us that we would be charged for the rug to be cleaned. They took money from us without our knowledge. The fact we were not given a card receipt for this transaction shows the hotel was being dishonest. I have waited until now to review but life with three young children is busy and I have better things to do with my time. However, for the sake of others that may stay at the hotel, I thought I had to share.

  : It was centrally located, the room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The food was traditional and delicious. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly.
