  : I was quiet impress with the hotel. I never stay in hotels with rating below 7 on booking (and almost never below 8), but I was forced to book here because there were no other options available at the moment at melbu, near the ferry to Lofoten. the hotel was more than ok. very comfortable and clean. not fancy, but how is expecting that for this price? the breakfast was good for the dimensions of this place, and the staff was very nice. it was located right in front of the harbour (perfect for my next day trip). it was certainly a good value for money. and last but not the least: it was the first hotel during my trip in Norway with blackouts that really prevented the light to get in (very important for us, Southern European fellows used to produced melatonin all year around - and not only half of the year). so I had a very good night of sleep.
  : I had a situation at dinner, but it was well managed and resolved by the staff, so thumbs up for her! my room faced a back street and not the harbour (perfect fine for me, I was there to spend the night and not to see the views). what happens is that backstreet/alley behind the hotel had some kind of a staff doorway or maybe a garbage container that was bumping every now and then till 11pm. so it made a hell of a noise into my room till then. just because of that I am not giving 10 stars to the hotel.

  : very convenient for ferry from Fiskebol. Discovered a very odd restaurant hidden amongst the old herring oil factory buildings on the breakwater.
  : It's right in the old ferry port amidst rather run down looking industrial buildings and warehouses. But the hotel is lovely.

  : Friendly, flexible and very accommodating staff. Comfortable bed. Clean toilets. Excellent breakfast choices. Staff were very happy to help.

  : good big modern cosy room, sunshine during breakfast, helpfull staff that gave us good advice and directed us to a good restaurant nearby and even gave us coffee and tea to go on the ferry!
  : upon arrival, they could not find our booking.

  : Very welcoming and accommodating staff, good facilities and happy to store bikes. Only restaurant in town on a Sunday night, dinner was only OK though.
  : Overall quite tired and needs updating. Sea view rooms are a sea view between gaps in well lit warehouses.
