  : I loved the pool and the surrounding gardens . Residents there were friendly. The apartment was of a good quality and we had a good kitchen.
  : The location was too far away from places without a car although we did catch a bus to the nearest beach resort, La Cala de Mijas which has good beaches and restaurants. Its very pleasant.

  : Good communication from the letting agent and it was easy to get the key. The view in the morning over the pool when it was quiet was lovely. Bed was comfortable and kitchen facilities were adequate for a short stay. Las Farolas is a very pretty urbanisation with good beaches nearby and it is near to both La Cala and Fuengirola for plenty of restaurants, shops etc.
  : WiFi was not working for the duration of my stay, I have a relative on Las Farolas so was luckily able to use their wifi as I didn't want the faff of having to phone and report the fault and wait for somebody to sort it out when I was there for such a short time. Although the pool was lovely to overlook in the morning I personally wasn't keen later in the day when it got busier as it felt there was not enough privacy and also it got noisy but this may not bother other people. You can hear every noise from your neighbours, e.g. showers going, toilets flushing, people walking about in shoes etc so this can get annoying and unfiortunately I was woken one night by people arriving at 2.30 in the morning and some lads decided to go for a swim even though the pool is supposed to close at 10pm - this was very disturbing, especially as I was staying on my own and I didn't know who I could report this disturbance to at that late hour. The apartment itself although adequate for my short stay is in a tired state (e.g. lights broken, mould in one of the bedrooms, holes in the bedroom ceiling where a light is missing, iron did not work when i needed to use it). I am aware of other apartments on the urbanisantion that are rentable and in a much better state of repair and with better facilities that are the same price so offer much better value for money so i would not stay at this apartment again for that price.
