Disappointing

  : The location & the staff were excellent. There is no breakfast offered at the hotel but they give you good suggestions of where to eat. They always have pastries in the lobby for guests.
  : The hotel is looking tired and the carpets are dirty. I was put in room 554 which has the generator for the hotel outside the window and it sounded like you were on the runway of the airport. The staff were very apologetic but the hotel was completely booked for that evening and couldn’t move me. Special thanks to David who handled this situation for me. However it is unacceptable to charge money for a room that is knowingly noisy. The following evening I was moved to another room. The shower dripped all night so we lost another nights sleep. It was fixed the following day but the hotel deactivated our keys while the tradesman was fixing the shower. This was concerning as all our belongings were in the room.

  : The hotel is perfectly located next to the Piazza del Duomo, the Teatro alla Scala and main shopping areas. We returned to the hotel based on our previous experience the hotel staff. In addition to providing efficient solutions to every-day tourist problems, we benefitted from excellent advice about local restaurants. The staff make this hotel perfect for those looking for an authentic Milan experience.
  : Being located in the city centre also has its downside. the old tram system is noisy and some even make the building tremble as they go by. However, it is fair to point out the any hotel situated next to the tram line could have the same problem.Some taxis are not authorised to pick up or drop off at the door but the hotel can obtain a temporary permit so its best to contact the hotel first.
