  : Comfortable bed. Nice swimming pool. AC was nice. Walking distance to a restaurant and a bakery ( thought the bakery was too pricey). Easy driving distance to other towns for day trips.
  : The queen size room is small. Noisy AC. Not worth the price for a motel setting.

  : Location is beautiful. Simple room with only the essentials. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating when I had an issue with the fridge.
  : A few things are outdated. The mini fridge wasn’t working when we first arrived and had to switch the outlet it was plugged into.

  : The room was very clean. I’m glad there was no carpet! The bed was comfortable and the room felt very clean (which is most important to me).
  : Room is quite small. There is only one little table (there should be one next to each bedside) and not enough space to put things down . Could use more tables, a chair. Also needs coffee! There was no fresh coffee in the office either.

  : The town of Monte Rio and this property are located in an old growth redwood forest, just amazing! This property is close to a beautiful public golf course and next two large, older homes along the golf course and adjacent Russian River. The homes and this property are surrounded by and literally in huge redwoods making for a very peaceful experience. We stayed in one of the “cabins“ in the back of the property situated directly in and among the redwoods. It was very quiet and a very serene environment.
  : Unfortunately, several of the cabin units were flagged as unsafe to occupy including the one directly connected to a common wall of the unit in which we stayed…a little strange. The deck of the unit we stayed in was was completely gated off and not accessible during our stay. The sliding glass door to the deck was blocked with a thick panel of metal fencing material. We could open the door but there was no screen door to keep bugs out. One of the windows also did not have a screen. These units don’t have AC, which isn’t really a problem when you can open the windows and the slider, but without screens we really didn’t feel safe doing so. We were not advised of these issues at reservation or check in.

  : DO NOT STAY HERE. We arrived with a reservation and they pretended they didn’t have it. Two families on a holiday stuck hours from home without a place to stay. And the employees did not show an ounce of compassion.
