  : Right on the ocean with a fantastic view & the sounds of the waves. Great to relax with a glass of local wine or beer on the patio. It is a large 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms - we were there as 2 couples and it was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked, with a full sized fridge, and a nice welcome basket. The washer and dryer were very much appreciated. A short 5 minute walk to a spectacular viewpoint to watch the sunsets, or it was also nice to watch the sunset from the raised backyard terrace. We loved the location - this is located in a quiet corner of the island, in a small village. We were there in March, at the end of our time on Sao Miguel - it was a perfect quiet end to our trip. It was a 40 minute drive on winding roads to get back to Ponta Delgada. The house was easy to find, and Samuel was fantastic. We had one small hiccup - he was very easy to communicate with and resolved our concern immediately.
  : The indoor showers could use new shower heads. The outdoor shower was great and had the best view ever.
