  : Every now and again I see hostels on here with ratings that I just can't possibly understand. It literally feels like a Twilight Zone type experience that this place has such a high rating on here, and I'm a pretty low-maintenance gal. In the interest of objectiveness, I'll start with the positives: The location is great- you could easily walk here in five minutes from the train station. It's about a 20-minute walk from the center, and the street is quiet. The bed is very comfortable. Soft mattresses that seem new-ish, and (most) beds have privacy curtains, if you're into that. My bed didn't, but I don't care so much about this. The hostel has a hang out room and a kitchen in the basement. I didn't really use either of these, but they're available. There are no other hostels in the city that I know of.
  : The room is stuffy and gets so humid because of the bathroom (which has no fan or window so it never really dries out). With four people in it, the floor also gets grimey really fast, and although the cleaning lady is there daily I never saw this get addressed. You can open the windows and this helps a bit, but there doesn't seem to be much air movement. A fan would help tremendously.Ultimately, the main issue is reception, or rather, lack thereof. I really, really wish I could explain in detail what happened so you could see what I mean, but booking has a word limit and the negatives just kept piling on top of one another, so I can't explain it at all without giving the story in full.In short, I got locked out for hours- the WhatsApp number they posted on the door didn't work. When I finally got in touch with them, they said they didn't give it to me because I didn't have a reservation in spite of my having talked to the owners daughter about it the day before (the only person I saw in my time there). When I finally got in touch with them, they charged me more than the listed price and couldn't even give me change because they were never there- they asked me to hide the cash in the kitchen when I left.I took photos of everything and they confirmed that everything was fine. Then they tried to tell booking that I never showed up for my reservation to charge my card again. The entire time they just seemed irritated that I contacted them at all, despite my trying to be as polite and easygoing as I could.I wish there was space to explain it all in full, but suffice it to say that the whole experience was incredibly negative. Mind, I'm a person who has happily slept on bus station floors, in brothels, and in cemeteries without complaint. I'm not an easy person to disappoint.

  : The hostel is located in a good place near the train station 5 min and easy to walk around the city, shopping malls, public transports. The staff are very warm and helpful.

  : The drawings in the rooms are quite nice
  : ohhh.. Where should I start? There isn't any fridge at all, neither in the room nor in the kitchen. In the photos of our room on booking, the shower appears to be in the room, but in some rooms, there is another private bathroom outside the main room. After 00:00, there are no staff members available to assist you; no matter what happens, you're alone. At 00:06, I called their numbers and sent a message on booking, but the phone was calling in the kitchen and all of the staff had left. Neither in our room nor in the outside bathroom were there any hair dryers. Can you imagine? We couldn't find a hair dryer anywhere. We had to wait until morning to take hair dryer from reception. Finally, we managed to take a shower, but the water cut off while I was in the shower. Apparently, they forgot to balance the water supply.

  : - bathroom floor was a bit wet- no fan in bathroom to get humid air out besides opening the bathroom door- staff not speaking english very well

  : One night room smelled because one guest had body odor issues. Made it hard for other guests to sleep/breathe.

  : The location, the kitchen & the basement, the daily cleaning lady, the privacy curtains, locked storage for luggage, self checking in & out, the gate code.
  : No A/C, one window without a screen so cats, bugs would come in, drinking water, soaps/ body wash . Sometimes noise from the street as it's at the ground floor. The room a bit cramped.
