  : My niece and I chose a room with two queen size beds and an ocean view (an additional cost) on the 5th floor. Location was acceptable and we found to our amazement, very quiet We also felt safe at the location and in the hotel. Access to beach was acceptable to us (direct access one block from hotel). Ocean/beach view was minimal but OK. TV not operational when we arrived, but was by the time we checked in. AC worked great in our room, essential for someone who has asthma. Room had a full size refrigerator and microwave and both worked well. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. We really liked the one manager we spoke with. She was very personable and friendly! The price of our stay was considerably less than other hotels/motels in the Myrtle Beach area.
  : On arrival, we found nasty bed coverings but, thankfully, NO bed bugs! We agreed to stay when hotel staff agreed to change out bed coverings, but we were duped! They neglected to put any sheets back on one of the beds ... my niece slept on top of the bedspread! On day we were leaving, we stripped bed coverings, as we always do, What we found was disgusting! Staff had, indeed, put on new bedspreads and clean sheets and clean box spring covers. When we took off the bed coverings, however, we found old bed coverings underneath which were nasty (appeared not to have been washed, with urine and, heaven knows what, other types of stains on them). Also, we found the pillows were very old and dirty! We questioned if the floors had been moped for weeks! Couldn't tell by looking because of type and color of flooring and carpeting. However, walking around the room with socks on showed they were very dirty so we wouldn't walk around barefooted! Also, cleaning of bathrooms was insufficient! Minimal cleaning overall, by the cleaning staff. As a side-note, it appeared that some of the rooms at the hotel are rented out on a weekly or monthly basis, but residents were friendly and not a distraction for us.

  : Rooms could've been cleaner for the money we paid...TV was wobbling..nothing in the closet to hang clothes on and a dirty bathtub...they closed the gate to the pool at 6 one night it wasn't supposed to close til 10

  : Looks dated from the outside but the inside of the suite was completely remodeled and modern. Very nice room, definitely worth the value. A lot bigger and nicer than the pictures show. More like a small apartment with a full size fridge, microwave, and an air fryer/oven. Short walk to the beach and food. Short drive to the tourist spots. Also very clean! This place could easily go for triple the price if it was on the beach and newer.

  : The staff was great! They asked me many times if we had everything we needed. Staff was always on the grounds and available for any issues. I didn't have any issues, but if I did, they would be there. The hotel is a short walk to the public access beach area, possibly 100 yards to the sand itself maybe?! They have a "shower-off" area outside of the hotel to get sand / salt off of you. The room was a 1 king suite. It was tight but it was just me and my small son so it worked for us. I liked having a broom in the room so I could sweep up all the sand we tracked in. Housekeeping came by our room every morning and asked if we had everything we needed, and asked if we needed anything. When we weren't in the room when they came in, they restocked our towels, toilet paper and other supplies they may have seen we were short of. The balcony looked over the road, but we could see the beach easily from the room. Parking was great! They have their own lot behind the hotel. Hotel is close to the main highway, Kings Highway, 3 blocks possibly, so you don't have to drive far to get to everything. You could walk if you wanted too. Hotel sits beside a Mexican food restaurant/hotel. McDonald's is 3 blocks away. You could walk I promise! The pool was nice and clean. No problems at all! They cleaned the pool daily. Staff vacuumed the carpeted areas of the floors, where people walk in common areas, all day basically. The owners truly care about you. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! As long as the same people are running the place, I'll be back! I don't regret it at all! There was a lady that came off the streets with a bicycle. She wanted to get on the elevator and go to a room. She didn't appear to be a law abiding citizen either. The owner was VERY quick to tell her to get the bicycle out of the hotel, and told her she most definitely would NOT be taking it on the elevator. He told her to leave. Two thumbs up for that Jose!!
  : The owner told me to tell him if I needed anything, many times. However, I did not mention to him that I wiped down the door knobs, light switches, keyboard for the AC unit and fridge door handle with Clorox wipes. I would make a kind suggestion to the cleaning team, to pay attention to the smaller things too! Like door handles, beside the door handles on the door itself, any switches or pads, table tops or counter tops.. basically anything you have to touch needs to be wiped down with an antibacterial type wipe. Just a suggestion, not a complaint, only a suggestion. I'll have my Clorox wipes at ANY hotel I stay at so it wasn't just for this hotel at all. That's how I've done for a long time. Other than that, I had no issues at all. The staff / owners were so nice and kind. They cared and would do anything to help you. As stated before, I'll be back for sure!! Thank you Jose and your wife, for all you do for that place, and caring so much for the people that stay there.

  : The staff were very friendly and super accommodating being available for all requests during my stay and allowing us to check in much earlier than the normal check in time which was super helpful and appreciated. My boys enjoyed the pool, quick access to the beach and there is also an art museum, miniature golf and restaurants nearby. Major attractions are within a short driving distance.
  : The floors in our room could use a really good mopping and the rooms could use some major updates especially the kitchen, bathroom and sofa bed.

  : I didn't like anything. Bad cleaning. Shower with little water, horrible adjustment. Either the water is too hot or too cold. Horrible cigarette smell!
