  : The room was really nice, great pool area and quiet and charming village. We really enjoyed the restaurant - fantastic food and really nice price/quality in a great atmosphere on the terrace. The room was simple but clean and comfortable with a mobile airco unit. Correct breakfast. Overall super, especially for the price.
  : We almost liked everything as it is a super place overall. However on our last evening something happened that leaves a bad taste. Inside they have a stand where you can find your own wine and see the prices as well (no classic wine menu, which is a great idea!) A waiter assisted us and recommended a Bourgogne of 36 euros. We went for another bottle of 26 which was really good and we enjoyed it a lot with the dinner. After dinner we asked him to bring his earlier recommendation anyway, as we wanted a good bottle to finish the evening. To our surprise he did not bring the one from 36, but another Bourgogne of 73 euros (we only found out later). Also without consulting or informing us about the price - and to be honest I did not recognize the bottle so i did not say anything. However I guess that it would be normal to mention a price difference of more then 100%. Next day we mentioned it at check out and the Boss was clearly already aware of the situafion and quite defensive - "we asked for a "good bottle" and this was a "good bottle" and we could just have seen the prices inside". If we wanted to pay cash or card - et au revoir. However what he did not listen to or understand - it was not the earlier recommendation of the waiter that we asked for. Also it's quite unrealistic to expect that we know all prices of all bottles instantly after being 1x inside. I understand that it is a business and money needs to be made, but we are not in a Paris tourist trap (where this is normal business) but in a small lovely family business in the Prigord. Or is it because of another reason? Even though I do my best to speak some French... I did not like the interaction between the waiter and the boss at all - not friendly and like they knew what they were doing, it seemed all a bit fake.

  : An oasis of a hotel in very rural France. Not that easy to find but located in a lovely little village. The room was adequate, clean and comfortable but up stairs. Th evening meal was served in the courtyard restaurant and was excellent. The breakfast was the usual mix of French bread and croissants with coffee, yoghourt and juice. Facilities were good and the staff helpful.
